Pokémon: ABEMA to stream 24 films and short anime for free
The special programming runs daily from 19 to 22 September 2026, starting at 10 a.m., and includes films, specials and five short anime series.

From 19 to 22 September 2026, ABEMA will stream a total of 24 Pokémon films, specials and short anime free of charge. The special programming for Japan's Silver Week begins at 10 a.m. on all four days and runs via the streaming service's anime channel "Pokémon 2".
Eleven feature films and eight specials
As Anime!Anime! reports and ABEMA explains in a statement, the programme includes eleven longer feature films. These include "Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!", "Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us", "Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution" and "Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle".
Also included are four shorter cinema productions and four spin-off specials. The schedule features, among others, "Meloetta's Moonlight Serenade", "Eevee & Friends", the Mewtwo prologue to "Genesect and the Legend Awakened" and the Diancie special. According to ABEMA, the works shown remain free to watch for one week after their broadcast.
Five Pokémon short anime are also part of the programme
In addition to the films, ABEMA is showing five short anime series and short projects: "Paldean Winds", "Twilight Wings", "POKÉTOON", "Tadaima" and "Pokémon Video Encyclopedia". The selection thus ranges from older cinema productions to newer web anime formats.
Aninew.de has also recently published several Pokémon reports: a Pokémon GO collaboration episode of "Pokémon Horizons" was announced for 18 September. In addition, a new feature film, "Pokémon: Wildcard", is due in 2027, while "Pokémon Tales" launches on Disney+.
ABEMA already operates two of its own Pokémon anime channels, where, according to its own statement, it continuously shows the eight TV series as well as the 24 long feature films and further specials. For the Silver Week campaign, this bundles a selection of 24 productions over four days.
