Romelia War Chronicle: Second Cour Premieres in April 2027
Hiro Shimono performs the ending song for the second cour. The series is currently airing on Crunchyroll.

Romelia War Chronicle continues its TV broadcast with a second cour in April 2027. On October 31, the production team confirmed that the fantasy series is structured as a split-cour anime. The performer of the ending song for the second part has also been set: synthetic voice actor and musician Hiro Shimono will perform the new closing theme.
Second Cour from April 2027
The first half has been airing on Japanese television since October 5, 2026. This means there is a broadcast break between the two cours: after the current autumn lineup, the story will continue in spring 2027. The production has not yet given a more precise date than April. The title of the new ending song has also not yet been announced.
In Germany, Romelia War Chronicle is part of the autumn lineup on Crunchyroll. The official anime website lists Crunchyroll as an international streaming service outside Japan, mainland China, and South Korea. In Japan, the episodes are available through Anime Times, U-NEXT, and Netflix, as well as on television via TOKYO MX and BS11, among others.
The second cour has thus been scheduled more concretely. Other currently announced TV anime are also being spread across multiple broadcast blocks, including The Exiled Heavy Knight and Though I Am an Inept Villainess.
Hiro Shimono Sings the Second Ending
Hiro Shimono is known as a Japanese voice actor and singer. With his song, he takes over the musical accompaniment for the second cour. In the first half, the opening "Akatsuki ni Naru" is by Chogakusei; the ending "Nightfall feat. Maika Loubté" is handled by KOHTA YAMAMOTO. KOHTA YAMAMOTO also composes the series music.
The already released second official trailer offers a look at the first half of the production. It is not labeled as a trailer for the newly announced April cour.

An Army After Defeating the Demon King
The story is based on the light novel by Ryo Ariyama. Romelia first helps defeat the Demon King, but her fiancé Prince Henri subsequently breaks off the engagement. She then dedicates herself to rebuilding her war-torn homeland and organizes her own troop. The story explicitly begins where other fantasy adventures end with the defeat of the final boss.
The animation is produced by Atra. Koji Saito is involved as series director, and Aya Satsuki is responsible for the scripts and series composition. Yuna Nemoto voices Romelia, Jin Ogasawara voices Al, and Tomohiro Ono voices Ray. Further details on the second cour's program are to follow via the official anime website and project channels.
