Though I Am an Inept Villainess: Second Cour Starts January 2027
Yuichi Nakamura, Shunichi Toki and Chiaki Kobayashi join the cast for the next story arc of the Doga Kobo series.
"Though I Am an Inept Villainess" continues its TV anime adaptation with a second cour in January 2027. The official website also confirms Yuichi Nakamura, Shunichi Toki and Chiaki Kobayashi as new voice actors for the next story arc.
The series is based on Satsuki Nakamura's light novel "Futsutsuka na Akujo de wa Gozaimasu ga: Suuguu Chouso Torikae-den". Doga Kobo remains responsible for the animation. A specific air date in January 2027 has not yet been announced.
New Characters for the Second Cour
Yuichi Nakamura takes on Kou Keikou, Shunichi Toki voices Kou Keishou, and Chiaki Kobayashi can be heard as Unran. Keikou and Keishou are Reirin's two overprotective brothers, and in the second cour they are drawn directly into a new crisis.
After the unrest in the inner palace ends, the story moves to the south of the kingdom. Keigetsu is due to prepare the harvest festival there, while Reirin looks forward to her first major journey outside the court. An unexpected incident causes Keigetsu's magic to spiral out of control once again: Reirin and Keigetsu swap bodies yet another time, and Reirin is then kidnapped in her swapped form. The arc is titled "The First Royal Outing" arc on the official English website.
Streaming in Europe
The anime's international website currently lists Crunchyroll and Disney+ as streaming providers for Europe. Whether both services will also carry the second cour from January 2027 at the same time is not yet listed there separately.
The continuation thus joins an already busy January. Also announced for January 2027 are the start of "SSS-Class Revival Hunter" and the second season of "Shin Samurai-den YAIBA".
