Pokémon Horizons: Pokémon GO episode arrives on September 18
Professor Willow and PokéStops appear in the TV series, while an in-game event for Pokémon GO launches at the same time.

"Pokémon Horizonte: Die Serie" gets a collaboration episode with "Pokémon GO" in Japan on September 18, 2026. In episode 150, titled "Hirogaru Sekai, Kimi to GO!", Professor Willow accompanies Liko and her group on a field study. PokéStops from the mobile game will also appear in the episode.
According to Anime!Anime!, Friedel leads the group to the field study, where Professor Willow joins as a companion. During the investigation, Liko and the others learn more about how Friedel and Charizard first met. The flashback shows Friedel as a child and Charizard still as Charmander.

An event launches in Pokémon GO at the same time
The cooperation is also reflected in the game itself. From September 16 to 22, 2026, Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard wearing Friedel's protective goggles are set to appear in "Pokémon GO." In addition, when taking photos with GO Snapshot, characters and Pokémon from the anime series may appear.
A promo code has also been announced for the TV broadcast on September 18. It is meant to enable a guaranteed encounter with a Charmander wearing Friedel's protective goggles and a special background. The code is to be revealed during the episode.
The cooperation thus connects not only the series' storyline with the mobile game, but also runs simultaneously as an in-game event. The German Pokémon website lists the current series under the title "Pokémon Horizonte: Die Serie." It has not yet been announced exactly when the collaboration episode will air in Germany.
Other anime projects are also coming up in the Pokémon franchise: the "Pokémon: Wildcard" theatrical film has already been announced for 2027, and "Pokémon Tales" by Aardman will be released worldwide on Disney+.
