Hatsune Miku: CHURA MIKU STREET 2026 expands to Shuri
The six-week city event connects Kokusai-dori and Shuri with food collaborations, travel offers and new merchandise.
"CHURA MIKU STREET 2026" brings Hatsune Miku to Naha from November 1 to December 13 and extends this year's city event from Kokusai-dori into the Shuri area. Organizer Ashibi Company links the campaign to the theme of rebuilding Shuri Castle; Crypton Future Media supports the project.
The event is meant to guide visitors through Okinawa's cityscape, culture and gastronomy. According to the official announcement, the 2026 program is spatially expanded compared with the previous year. Alongside Kokusai-dori, the surroundings of Shuri are now also part of the event area. The main hall of Shuri Castle is set to be generally accessible again during the event period from November 23.
Food, travel plan and new products
Several collaboration menus with local businesses have been announced for the period. These again include the "Negi-Negi Steak" as well as further dishes with an Okinawa connection. In parallel, official products featuring the new visual will appear, including shirts, acrylic stands, keychains, bags and souvenir items. Reservations in the official online shop run during the event; regular shipping is to begin from December 14.
In addition, a dedicated Okinawa travel plan is offered, which can bundle flights and a hotel or accommodation alone. According to the organizer, the booking deadline for this ends on September 23. Participants receive limited event items depending on the package.
For Miku fans, Okinawa is thus not the only major event destination of the coming months. Magical Mirai 2027 is visiting Hiroshima for the first time as well, while an official songcontest has already started for the next edition. Musically, the BEYOND-BORDERs single "Light" with Hatsune Miku was also recently released.
The official event page bundles further program items and is to add additional details continuously: 39-street.com.
