Yamato and Arizona Face Grand Reverse
As Denfaminicogamer reports, the new main trailer shows the final stage of the conflict with Dezarium. The partisan fleet gathers against Grand Reverse, a heavy nucleonic bomb meant to "initialize" all of humanity. The battleship Arizona also launches into the fight as the last trump card. Meanwhile, Susumu Kodai takes the captain's seat of the Yamato and steers toward Dezarium's home planet to find answers to the open questions and a future for Earth.
MANTANWEB also highlights a scene in the trailer in which Yuki Mori orders the Arizona to launch. At the end, Kodai calls out for Sasha. Alongside the trailer, a new main visual was released. The illustration comes from character designer Nobuteru Yuki and shows, among others, Kodai, Sasha, Yuki Mori and Alphon.
Conclusion of a Seven-Chapter Reinterpretation
"Yamato yo Towa ni REBEL3199" builds on the 1980 theatrical film "Yamato yo Towa ni" and reconstructs its material with new interpretations within the series continued since "Space Battleship Yamato 2199." Satelight is responsible for the animation of the final chapter. Harutoshi Fukui serves as chief director for the project and co-writes the script with Hideki Oka; Naomichi Yamato directs.
The cinema release comes only one week after Made in Abyss: New Trailer Reveals Theme Song and Cast, whose new film starts in Japan on October 23, 2026. On the same day, Attack on Titan returns to the big screen with a new cinema trailer in several special formats in Japan.
For "Nijiiro no Rinne," sales of a second MovieTicket card featuring a B2 poster of the new main visual began on September 18. Regular Japanese cinema screenings have been running since October 30, 2026. In the meantime, a joint visual with Love Live! also shows Sasha and Honoka Kosaka in Akihabara; two further official videos were released as well.
