Attack on Titan: New Trailer for the Cinema Return This October
"Crimson Bow and Arrow" arrives in Japan on October 23, 2026, and for the first time also in the three-screen SCREEN X format.

A new cinema trailer has been released for "Attack on Titan: Crimson Bow and Arrow." The recap of the first TV season returns to the big screen in Japan on October 23, 2026, where it will be shown in SCREEN X, 4DX and ULTRA 4DX.
Trailer Shows the Beginning of Eren's Story
Anime!Anime! reports that the new main trailer once again focuses on the start of the story. Eren and the other members of the 104th Training Corps are seen fighting the Titans. The film condenses the 25 episodes of Season 1 and originally premiered in Japanese cinemas in 2014.
The re-release thus follows roughly twelve years after the original cinema release. In addition to 4DX, "Crimson Bow and Arrow" also receives a SCREEN X screening for the first time. In this format, the image is additionally projected onto the two side walls of the auditorium, creating three projection surfaces.
A verified official YouTube upload of the new trailer could not be clearly confirmed during research. For that reason, the video is not embedded here.
"THE LAST ATTACK" Follows in 2027
The cinema return is part of a larger anniversary campaign surrounding "Attack on Titan." The official website had already confirmed on September 9 that "Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK" will also be shown again in SCREEN X, 4DX and ULTRA 4DX. For this re-screening, the production has so far only given the year 2027.
No corresponding cinema dates have currently been announced for Germany, Austria or Switzerland. The information published so far refers to Japan.
The franchise remains present beyond these re-screenings: at the MAPPA EXPO, "Attack on Titan: The Final Season" receives its own exhibition area. A similar return of an older anime film is also scheduled for late October with the 4K remaster of "Cowboy Bebop: The Movie".
