Love Live! × Yamato REBEL3199: Characters Meet in Akihabara
The official videos for the film's finale show Sasha looking back on the story and her visit to Tokyo's anime district.

Love Live! and Yamato yo Towa ni REBEL3199 have released a joint visual showing Honoka Kosaka and Sasha walking hand in hand through Tokyo's Akihabara district. The illustration appears in connection with the final film "Dai Nana-sho: Nijiiro no Rinne," which has been showing in Japanese cinemas since October 30, 2026.
Akihabara Connects the Two Anime
The unusual collaboration has a direct link to the story of the new Yamato film. In the seventh chapter, Sasha visits the Akihabara district of Tokyo. This place also plays a central role for Love Live!: the story of the school idol group μ's is closely tied to the neighborhood. In the shared artwork, Sasha and Honoka Kosaka, one of the members of μ's, walk together through the streets.
The production team unveiled the visual on October 24 on the official website of Yamato REBEL3199. Anime!Anime! and Nijimen also reported on the connection between the two works. No further episodes, a joint anime, or appearances of the characters in each other's series were announced alongside the illustration.
Two Official Videos Accompany the Film Finale
Alongside the image, the production released two videos. One recap summarizes the story so far from Sasha's perspective. The second clip shows a short excerpt of her visit to Akihabara. Both videos were announced via the film's official website.

Yamato yo Towa ni REBEL3199 reinterprets motifs from the 1980 theatrical film Be Forever Yamato and the then-series Space Battleship Yamato III. The production comprises 26 episodes, released since July 2024 across seven cinematic chapters. The seventh chapter, "Nijiiro no Rinne," concludes the story. The final trailer and the plot of the last chapter have already been covered.
Love Live! began in 2013 as a TV anime about the school idol group μ's and was later expanded into a large multimedia franchise. Among its more recent projects is the School Idol Musical with a revised stage production. A comparable cross-franchise artwork recently appeared in the mecha field with the joint visual for VOTOMS and Rakuen Tsuiho.
The current release information refers to Japan. No German cinema date for the seventh Yamato chapter was named in the official announcement.
