Touken Ranbu: Six Sword Warriors Meet Kanagawa Craftsmanship
The collaboration links six Touken Danshi with three traditional crafts from Kanagawa Prefecture.

KOUGEI EXPO in Kanagawa will present a collaboration gallery for "Touken Ranbu ONLINE" featuring six sword warriors and three traditional crafts of the prefecture from November 7 to 9, 2026. The venue is Pacifico Yokohama in Yokohama.
Kanagawa Prefecture has selected six Touken Danshi connected to the region for the gallery: Higekiri, Hizamaru, Heshikiri Hasebe, Hyuga Masamune, Yamanbagiri Chogi and Futasuji-hi Sadamune. The new key visual introduces the six characters together. The exhibition is meant to bring them together with Kamakura-bori, Hakone Yosegi-zaiku and Odawara Shikki, the three traditional crafts highlighted by the prefecture.
Exhibition and Sales in Yokohama
Planned are both exhibited collaboration works and the sale of related merchandise. Which individual pieces will be on view and which products will be available has not yet been announced. The organizers want to publish further details once they are confirmed.
KOUGEI EXPO runs on November 7 and 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on November 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free. The event is dedicated to traditional Japanese craftsmanship and this year explicitly expands its program with collaborations with popular media brands.
"Touken Ranbu ONLINE" was released in 2015 and, according to Kanagawa, now has more than 15 million users. The franchise extends well beyond the game and includes anime, musicals and productions with Kabuki, Noh and Kyogen, among others. Aninew.de recently also reported on the "Touken Ranbu: ICE BLADE" ice show and the upcoming "Fit Boxing Touken Ranbu".
The collaboration gallery is thus less a single merchandise event than another step by which "Touken Ranbu" carries its historical motifs into real traditional cultural formats.
