Fit Boxing Touken Ranbu: Six Swordsmen Start Training in January
The crossover brings six Touken Danshi as trainers to Switch and Switch 2.

"Fit Boxing Touken Ranbu" releases on January 15, 2027 for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The new crossover combines "Touken Ranbu ONLINE" with the training game series "Fit Boxing" and makes six Touken Danshi personal instructors.
Six Touken Danshi Take Over the Training
The trainers are Mikazuki Munechika, Ōkanehira, Shokudaikiri Mitsutada, Heshikiri Hasebe, Yamanbagiri Chōgi and Unshō. Alongside a daily training mode and freely selectable exercises, the game includes tutorials and lessons on basic stance and individual punching movements.
New for the series is the "Nitō Kenbu" mode. Two Touken Danshi are chosen at the same time as main and secondary instructor. During training both give instructions, and between exercises additional dialogue arises between the chosen combination.
Players who train regularly also raise the characters' so-called "Musubi" level. As the level rises, further conversations and episodes from the Honmaru, designed specifically for the game, are unlocked. Ten pieces from "Fit Boxing" and 20 arranged BGM tracks from "Touken Ranbu ONLINE" are available for the exercises. The "Saniwa Health Gymnastics" known from the franchise is also part of the program.
Switch and Switch 2 Receive Separate Versions
Imagineer is publishing the game as separate versions for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. According to the official site the content is identical, but save data cannot be transferred between the two versions. The standard edition costs 7,678 yen in Japan, and a limited box with a drama CD, a material collection and further extras will also be released.
For "Touken Ranbu" this is not the only unusual extension of the franchise this year. Aninew recently reported on the ice show "Touken Ranbu: ICE BLADE", whose key visual shows eight swordsmen.
