Persona 4 Revival: Switch 2 release date set, Persona 6 to follow

Atlus is bringing Persona 4 Revival to Nintendo Switch 2 on May 20, 2027, and has also confirmed Persona 6 for the console. For Persona 6, the company still gives no release date.

The Switch 2 version of Persona 4 Revival therefore arrives later than the versions already announced for Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Windows, PlayStation 5 and Steam. For those platforms, Atlus has named February 18, 2027 as the date. The new Switch 2 version was presented together with its own announcement trailer.

Persona 6 is also coming to Nintendo Switch 2

The second announcement concerns the next numbered main entry in the series. Persona 6 is set to appear for Nintendo Switch 2 as well as Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Windows, PlayStation 5 and Steam. Atlus has not yet named a date. The official Persona channel describes the game as a new entry with a new stage and a new story, without giving any further concrete release details.

This means that both currently announced major Persona projects will also appear on Nintendo's new console. Persona 4 Revival already has a concrete Switch 2 date, while Persona 6 remains without one.

More Persona 4 information follows in September

For September 20, 2026, Atlus has also announced a new edition of "Persona 4 Revival TV". It is set to introduce more characters and new gameplay elements. Persona 4 Revival will also be playable at the Tokyo Game Show 2026. Other anime-adjacent games are represented there as well: a playable version of Jujutsu Kaisen RUMBLE has been announced, while Shangri-La Frontier is to show new RPG details at the fair.

For Persona 6, after the Switch 2 confirmation, the main open question remains the release date. Atlus has so far only confirmed the platforms.
