Persona 30th EX.: Anniversary Exhibition Opens in January
The exhibition at the Ueno Royal Museum shows materials published for the first time and recreated areas from the series.
The Persona series is marking its 30th anniversary with a major exhibition in Tokyo. "PERSONA 30th EX." runs from January 21 to February 7, 2027 at the Ueno Royal Museum, and Atlus is involved in the exhibition.
As confirmed by the official Persona Channel, the exhibition is one of the projects surrounding the series' 30th anniversary. The event period was announced there together with the venue. Information on tickets and the full exhibition program is still pending.
According to the Japanese magazine Gamer, "PERSONA 30th EX." is set to present materials shown for the first time and includes areas that spatially recreate the settings and worldviews of the series. The event is organized by the "PERSONA 30th EX." committee, with Atlus participating as a partner.
More Details to Follow in October
The next major information round is announced for October 23, 2026 at 7 p.m. Japan time. Further details about the exhibition are to be published then. In addition, the announcement for January 20, the day before the official opening, hints at another action related to the exhibition; specific details have not yet been named.
For the Persona series, the exhibition is part of a broader anniversary program that includes several events and releases across 2026 and 2027. On aninew.de, recent coverage included Persona 4 Revival and the confirmed Switch 2 date as well as the new trailer and "True Story -Revival-".
No date outside Japan has been announced for "PERSONA 30th EX." so far. The exhibition therefore remains a Tokyo-only event for now; further information is to follow with the next official announcement in October.
