Persona 4 Revival: New trailer and “True Story” released
Atlus is showing the new Location Episodes for Persona 4 Revival and has released Rise Kujikawa's song “True Story -Revival-” ahead of launch, together with an official lyric video.
Atlus has published new insights into the Location Episodes for Persona 4 Revival and at the same time made the song “True Story -Revival-” available in advance. The track is sung by Rise Kujikawa, voiced by Rie Kugimiya; in parallel, an official lyric video has appeared on the Atlus Game Music channel. The remake releases on February 18, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows and Steam, and the Nintendo Switch 2 version follows on May 20, 2027.
Atlus Game Music confirms that “True Story -Revival-” has been available worldwide as a download and stream since September 19, 2026 via services such as Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music. The composition is by Shoji Meguro, and the lyrics are written by Atlus. The new version picks up the song already known from Persona 4 and arranges it anew for Persona 4 Revival.
This video will only connect to YouTube once you play it.
Location Episodes expand Inaba
The current edition of Persona 4 Revival TV also shows the new Location Episodes. The starting point is a request from Aika Nakamura, voiced by Aoi Yuki. Together with her, the protagonist visits various places in Inaba and finds photos from the past there. When these pictures are shown to the respective characters, they reveal additional memories from their lives in the town.
The presentation also introduces Nanako Dojima, Ryotaro Dojima and Tohru Adachi. With this, Atlus is adding further details before release about the residents of Inaba and the new events of the remake.
For those who want to read the previous platform announcements, aninew.de already offers an overview of the Switch 2 release date for Persona 4 Revival and of Persona 6.
Release in 2027
According to Persona Channel, Persona 4 Revival releases on February 18, 2027 for Xbox Series X|S, Windows, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 5 and Steam. The version for Nintendo Switch 2 is announced for May 20, 2027. The new lyric video is already available before the game's launch via the official Atlus Game Music channel.
The new information thus brings together two areas of the remake: additional stories surrounding Inaba and a newly arranged version of a well-known Persona 4 song. Atlus thereby continues its ongoing presentation of characters, features and music.
