One Piece: New Gameplay Shows Restaurant Simulation
Bandai Namco's Kairosoft collaboration releases in October for Switch 2, Switch, Steam and mobile devices, and is playable at TGS 2026.
ONE PIECE 海のごちそうレストラン shows in a new gameplay video, for the first time in more detail, how daily life works in the restaurant simulation. As Nijimen reports, the player takes on the role of a new employee at the "Baratie 2" and, together with Sanji, develops dishes, sets up the restaurant and serves guests from the world of One Piece.
The game is a collaboration between Bandai Namco Entertainment and Kairosoft. According to the official website, more than 400 characters from One Piece are available. In addition, over 200 furniture, buildings and decorative objects can be placed in the restaurant. Certain guests can become regulars through suitable decor; character events and encounters between characters are also planned.
Release in October with German language support
The versions for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch release on October 22, 2026. Steam as well as iOS and Android follow on October 23. The official product page explicitly lists German as a supported language of the Japanese version. Voice acting is not included.
According to Bandai Namco, the Switch 2 and Steam versions support resolutions up to 4K; the frame rate is at most 30 frames per second on all listed platforms. The game is designed as a single-player title and carries the CERO A rating in Japan.
