Mochizuki-san and Boku no Sukina Hito ga Sukina Hito: TV Anime
The September 9 issue of Young Animal ZERO features both TV anime adaptations, announced back in August, together on its cover.

"Dokagui Daisuki! Mochizuki-san" and "Boku no Sukina Hito ga Sukina Hito" are getting TV anime adaptations. The issue of Young Animal ZERO released on September 9, 2026 features both projects together on its cover, after their anime adaptations were announced back in August.
Mochizuki-san Comes to Passione
The TV anime adaptation of "Dokagui Daisuki! Mochizuki-san" was announced on August 4. The official anime project confirms Passione as the animation studio. Details on the start date, cast and further staff are still pending. Kamome Maruyono's manga runs at Hakusensha in Young Animal ZERO and on Young Animal Web; according to Hakusensha's latest announcement, the series has reached a total circulation of one million copies. Volume 4 is due out in Japan on September 29.
The focus is on Mikoto Mochizuki, whose enormous appetite forms the basis of the gourmet comedy. For aninew.de, the announcement is also another current manga adaptation alongside the likewise newly announced "August 31st Long Summer".
Boku no Sukina Hito ga Sukina Hito Also Gets Animated
The anime adaptation of "Boku no Sukina Hito ga Sukina Hito" was confirmed on August 28. The romantic comedy is by author Sekina Aoi and mangaka Ryo Tsuzura and tells of three high school students whose unrequited feelings intertwine. Further production details such as studio, cast or an air date have not yet been announced.
The current Young Animal ZERO issue contains chapters 46 and 47 of the series in color. The seventh collected volume has already been released in Japan. The series thus joins several ongoing manga titles with an announced anime version; most recently, aninew.de reported on "Mii-chan to Yamada-san", whose anime is announced for 2027.
For both new TV projects, neither a German streaming provider nor a date for the German-speaking market has currently been confirmed.
