The Failure at God School: TV anime announced
The manga by Natsu Hyuuga and Modomu Akagawara is serialized in Japan in Hana to Yume and is available in German from Altraverse.

"The Failure at God School" is getting a TV anime adaptation. The official website for the series launched on September 17, 2026, and at the same time revealed a first teaser visual featuring Nagi, Tsukuyomi and Tota. No premiere date, animation studio or further production details have been announced so far.
The source material comes from Natsu Hyuuga, and the story is being brought to manga form by Modomu Akagawara. The series runs in Hakusensha's magazine "Hana to Yume"; Seikaisha is involved in the original work. As Dengeki Online reported at the announcement, the 15th manga volume will be released in Japan on September 18, 2026. The story is also available as a novel series from Seikaisha FICTIONS.
The focus is on Nagi, who lives in a world where people with supernatural powers can reach the rank of a god. She is admitted to Kannagara School, although her own special ability is not initially apparent. There she meets, among others, Tsukuyomi, who nonetheless senses something unusual in her. The story thus combines school drama and supernatural abilities with a larger conspiracy in the background.
Manga is already available in German
For German-speaking readers, the source material is not an unknown series: Altraverse is already publishing the manga in German under the title "The Failure at God School". The first German volume appeared on November 14, 2022, so the anime adaptation already has an established German title available.
At this point, the official anime site has named neither a broadcast period nor cast, director, studio or episode count. A German streaming partner has also not yet been announced. As soon as the production publishes further details, the assessment of the adaptation can be updated accordingly.
Among the recent manga adaptations that aninew.de has reported on are "August 31st Long Summer" with a TV anime production by Shaft and the announced Light anime adaptation of "Aoharu Once More".
