Fullmetal Alchemist: Anniversary Exhibition with Yomi no Tsugai Opens
The joint exhibition on Hiromu Arakawa's manga series opens in Tokyo and then tours four further regions of Japan.

The joint anniversary exhibition for Fullmetal Alchemist and Yomi no Tsugai opened in Tokyo on August 13, 2026. With it, Square Enix marks two anniversaries of Hiromu Arakawa: Fullmetal Alchemist has existed for 25 years, Yomi no Tsugai for five years.
The first stop is the Event Square on the eighth floor of Matsuya Ginza, running until September 2. The official exhibition page describes the show as a joint presentation of the stories and characters of both series. The program includes display areas on the works as well as artwork and accompanying materials produced specifically for the event.
Exhibition Tours Japan Until 2027
After Tokyo, the exhibition first moves to Hokkaido, where it is planned at Daimaru Sapporo from October 14 to November 1, 2026. Ishikawa follows from November 27 to December 13, and Osaka from December 16, 2026 to January 10, 2027. The latest announced stop so far is Nagoya: at the PARCO there, the exhibition runs from February 6 to 28, 2027.
Opening hours, ticket models and parts of the offering may differ between the individual venues. Square Enix therefore refers to the official event pages of each venue for current details.
The exhibition joins several larger anniversary and work showcases taking place in Japan in 2026. aninew.de recently reported, for example, on the 20th-anniversary exhibition for Hetalia and the Tokyo City View exhibition for The Apothecary Diaries.
A date outside Japan for the Fullmetal Alchemist / Yomi no Tsugai exhibition is currently not listed on the official page.
