Yani Neko: Ai Kago voices a guest role and the eyecatch in episode 10
The former Morning Musume singer was already featured with a comment on the tenth manga volume.
Yani Neko casts Ai Kago for episode 10: the former Morning Musume singer voices the character "Moukinrui no Onna" and additionally takes on the episode's eyecatch. The episode aired in Japan in the night of September 11, 2026, on TOKYO MX and BS11.
ORICON NEWS reports on the appearance following the episode's broadcast. Kago voices not only the supporting character but also the title card of the tenth episode. The series' official X account published a comment from her after the broadcast; according to the report, her participation came about at short notice.
The connection between Kago and Yani Neko is not new. Already for the tenth manga volume, she had contributed a comment for the obi band. ORICON NEWS reported on this in November 2025. The anime is based on the manga by Nyannyan Factory, which is published by Kodansha in Young Magazine.
The TV adaptation has been running since July 2026. The official website lists TOKYO MX, BS11 and AT-X as broadcasters, and the site also names Netflix and other streaming services for Japanese distribution. Availability for Germany is not mentioned in the sources read.
For Yani Neko, the guest appearance is another unusual casting decision within the ongoing series. Already at the end of August, the regular broadcast schedule was briefly interrupted: aninew.de reported on the cast special program before episode 9. Episode 10 now resumes the regular broadcast with the additional guest appearance.
