Rakuen Tsuiho: Masatsugu Saito's Design Book Releases in November

A new design book by character designer Masatsugu Saito is set to release for Rakuen Tsuiho: Kokoro no Resonance on November 18, 2026. The volume collects his drafts for the upcoming theatrical film and supplements them with the designer's commentary.

Febri describes Rakuen Tsuiho: Kokoro no Resonance Masatsugu Saito Design Works as a comprehensive collection of the character designs for the new film. The cover shows Angela and Gabriel in a newly drawn illustration. In addition, the earlier book "Rakuen Tsuiho -Expelled from Paradise- Masatsugu Saito Design Works," which is now hard to obtain, is being reprinted in full. Further Angela illustrations that were not included in the original volume are also featured.

Release Shortly After Theatrical Debut

The timing falls only a few days after the Japanese theatrical release of Rakuen Tsuiho: Kokoro no Resonance. Nitroplus confirms November 13, 2026 for the film. Seiji Mizushima directs, the screenplay is by Gen Urobuchi, and the character design is again by Masatsugu Saito. Toei Animation produces the film.

"Kokoro no Resonance" continues the original film "Rakuen Tsuiho -Expelled from Paradise-," released in 2014. The new production thus carries forward both the story and a large part of the core creative team. The announcement published by Nitroplus so far names the Japanese theatrical release; no German cinema date is listed there.

Readers following the upcoming anime theatrical releases of 2026 can also find reports on the theatrical release of "SEKIRO: NO DEFEAT" and on "BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora" on aninew.de. The new "Rakuen Tsuiho" design book releases in Japan on November 18, five days after the film's premiere.
