Nobuhiko Okamoto, Natsuki Hanae, Koki Uchiyama and Ryota Suzuki voice the four students of the new ghost comedy.
The TV anime Phantom Busters has revealed its first teaser visual and four main voice actors. The adaptation of the manga of the same name by Neoshoco is set to air in Japan in 2027. At the same time, those responsible have confirmed the animation studio, the director and the two character designers.
Four students found an exorcism club
The story is set in the Japanese coastal city of Kamakura. At its centre is the student Mogari Shishikuno, who can devour ghosts. He moves to Kamakura to lead a normal school life, but is also meant to exorcise ghosts there. After meeting the exceptionally gifted student Eugene Korekishi, who himself does not believe in ghosts, the two found a ghost-exorcism club.
Joining them are Kaoru Kanzaki, a manga fan who can see ghosts, and Kotaro Tamon, who can speak with ghosts but struggles to interact with living people. The new anime series combines their supernatural abilities with a school comedy. The teaser visual shows the four boys in school uniforms against a green-violet background.
