The 90-second main trailer for the two-hour Detektiv Conan special “30-go Satsujin Jiken” was released on September 19. The anniversary special airs on September 25, 2026 at 9 p.m. on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV; one day later, the three-part TV adaptation of “Akaneiro no Senshuraku” from volume 106 of the manga begins.

The new trailer shows Conan and the large ensemble cast hunting for nearly perfectly counterfeited new 10,000-yen bills. Alongside the counterfeiting case, a murder case remains at the center. Elaiza Ikeda voices document expert Toko Satomi, Fumiharu Kamanaka directs, Takeharu Sakurai wrote the script, and TMS Entertainment handles the animation.

As Anime!Anime! reported from the Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair 2026, an audio commentary version of the special was also announced on stage. Participants include Minami Takayama, Akemi Okamura, Rikiya Koyama, Ryo Horikawa, Yuko Miyamura, and director Fumiharu Kamanaka. The special also contains a lead-in to the arc “Akaneiro no Senshuraku,” which starts the following day.

Heiji and Kazuha Get Their Own PV

A special PV titled “Futari no Koi” was released alongside “Akaneiro no Senshuraku.” It looks back at the development of Heiji Hattori and Kazuha Toyama so far and, at the end, shows scenes from the new arc for the first time.

The three episodes air in Japan on September 26, October 3, and October 10, each at 6 p.m. Starting with the first episode, Mai Kuraki’s new song “Ai de Zenbu Dakishimete Aishite” serves as the ending; the digital single releases on October 10. According to the announcement, this marks Kuraki’s 30th song for Detektiv Conan. She has already contributed “Hallelujah” as the theme song for “30-go Satsujin Jiken.”

A German evaluation of the special or the new arc is still not mentioned in the available announcements. Detektiv Conan will also be represented at the ABEMA Anime Festival 2026 the same weekend.
