ABEMA Anime Festival 2026: All Rooftop Stages in Free Livestream
Newly added are Detective Conan, Crayon Shin-chan and Takopi's Original Sin, among others; meanwhile the on-site program in Shibuya is growing as well.
The ABEMA Anime Festival 2026 will broadcast all stages on the rooftop of MIYASHITA PARK free of charge on September 19 and 20 via a dedicated "ABEMA Anime Festival" channel. ABEMA is also expanding the lineup with Detective Conan, Crayon Shin-chan, Takopi's Original Sin, Atashin'chi, Shirotan and PUI PUI Molcar.
As Anime!Anime! reports and ABEMA confirms in an official announcement, the free livestream covers the entire program of the rooftop stage. There, casts and guests from several current anime will appear on both festival days. In addition, ABEMA plans free marathon broadcasts of series taking part in the festival; details are to follow later.
New Titles and Events in Shibuya
The third wave of participants brings six more works to the festival. On site, character greetings with figures from several series are also planned, including Maomao from The Apothecary Diaries and Takopi from Takopi's Original Sin. Large capsule toy machines themed on Crayon Shin-chan and PUI PUI Molcar are also set to appear on the rooftop of MIYASHITA PARK.
Photo spots with a total of 29 character standees are being set up around MIYASHITA PARK. Featured works include Akane-banashi, The Apothecary Diaries, Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Detective Conan and Yomi no Tsugai.
The already published stage program remains in place. On September 20, for example, Aoi Yuki, Takeo Otsuka and Tatsumaru Tachibana will appear for The Apothecary Diaries. On aninew.de there is also the release date of Season 3. For Yomi no Tsugai, Kensho Ono and Yume Miyamoto have been announced; the series was most recently also part of the Fullmetal Alchemist anniversary exhibition.
The ABEMA Anime Festival 2026 takes place in Shibuya on September 19 and 20. The free rooftop stages can thus be followed live even without traveling to Japan; ABEMA does not state in the current announcement whether regional restrictions apply to individual streams.
