Palworld: Official Card Game launches worldwide
For the launch, two Trial Decks and the "Dawn of Palpagos" booster set are being released in three languages.
The Palworld Official Card Game was released worldwide on July 30, 2026. Bushiroad is publishing the new trading card game simultaneously in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese. At launch, two pre-constructed Trial Decks and the first booster set "Dawn of Palpagos" are available.
The card game transfers core systems from the survival game into a duel for two players. Players bring Pals to their base, send them into battles, or assign them tasks. Resources and buildings form a separate part of the strategy. Besides Pal cards, there are cards for equipment, events, structures, and so-called Souls, which serve as costs for cards and abilities.
More than 50 Pals in the first set
The first booster contains cards for more than 50 different Pals. Characters such as Zoe and Lily are also featured. According to the official product page, the set includes 100 regular card types as well as additional parallel versions. All illustrations were created specifically for the card game.
The two Trial Decks set different focuses. "Red & Blue" is geared toward direct attacks, while "Green & Purple" works more with tactical effects. Each deck contains 60 fixed cards, a rulebook, a paper playmat, a life point counter, and a booster pack.
The worldwide launch in three language versions makes the TCG playable immediately outside Japan as well. Specific information about German distribution partners or localized German cards is not yet available. However, the official English version is part of the global release.
With the new game, Palworld extends its brand for the first time with a standalone collectible card game. Comparable Japanese franchise products often sit between the classic toy market and organized competition.
