Hotaru no Yomeiri: New Key Visual Ahead of October Premiere
At a preview screening in Tokyo, the first three episodes were shown; Crunchyroll has announced the series for Europe.
Shortly before its October 9, 2026 premiere, the TV anime "Hotaru no Yomeiri" unveiled a new key visual featuring Satoko Kirigaya and Shinpei Goto. The image was first presented on September 6, after a preview screening of the first three episodes at United Cinemas Toyosu in Tokyo.
Anime!Anime! reports that Lynn, Koki Uchiyama, and Kento Ito took the stage after the screening. They voice Satoko Kirigaya, Shinpei Goto, and Kotaro Ogawa. The new visual centers on Satoko and Shinpei in a nighttime scene among glowing fireflies.
The series begins on October 9, 2026, and will then air Fridays at 11 p.m. in Fuji TV's Noitamina programming. For German-speaking regions, a streaming option has already been confirmed: Crunchyroll lists "Firefly Wedding" for October 2026 and explicitly names Europe as its licensing territory. The announcement does not provide details on a German dub.
