Hatsune Miku can be heard in the new song "Dreamcore" by john, whose official music video was released on September 17, 2026 on the 39ch YouTube channel. Crypton Future Media is releasing the track as a new "39ch Originals" project and is simultaneously starting its digital distribution through the VOCALOID label KARENT.
john Creates Music and Illustration
For "Dreamcore," john handles not only the music, lyrics and arrangement, but also draws the Hatsune Miku illustration used in the video as well as the costume design. The video production comes from Meri. The official Miku blog describes the piece as a journey from a flawed reality into a shimmering dream world, linking this idea to an atmosphere that is at once unsettling and soothing.
The music video is available directly on the official Hatsune Miku channel 39ch:
This video will only connect to YouTube once you play it.
Crypton calls "Dreamcore" a track written specifically for the series. 39ch serves the company as a platform for music featuring the Piapro Characters and publishes independent music videos by various producers under the name "39ch Originals."
Release via KARENT and piapro
Alongside the MV, the digital release of "Dreamcore" through KARENT begins. In addition, 39ch is making an off-vocal version available at piapro, which may be used for further creative work under the conditions stated there.
On aninew.de there have recently been several reports about Miku's current music projects.
