Gundam X: 39 posters celebrate the 30th anniversary in Japan
The illustrations cover every episode of the TV series; in addition, an official photo campaign runs on X until the end of September.

After War Gundam X is receiving a nationwide poster campaign in Japan for its 30th anniversary. Starting September 14, 2026, 39 different designs will be shown at Gundam-related facilities and other locations; each poster draws on one of the 39 episodes of the TV series.
The series premiered on April 5, 1996, and is the third title in the so-called Alternative series within the Gundam franchise. It centers on an Earth devastated by a terrible war and on the crew of the ship Freeden. The anniversary campaign, now launched under the title "Gundam X wa Itsumo Soko ni Aru," is intended to bring the individual episodes back into focus.
39 designs for 39 episodes
According to Anime!Anime!, the posters consist of well-known scenes and character images from each respective episode. The official Gundam website confirms that the campaign begins on September 14. No fixed end date for the poster campaign was given; the locations are to be published step by step via the official Gundam channels.
In parallel, a photo campaign runs on X until September 30 at 23 Japan time. Participants are asked to post a picture showing their personal connection to Gundam X. Among all valid entries, 30 A5 mini posters will be raffled off. The designs come from the anniversary volume After War Gundam X A.W. 30th Chronicle. According to the participation terms, prizes can only be shipped within Japan.
