Studio DEEN Produces the Adaptation
Sota Ueno is directing. Sawako Hirabayashi is in charge of series composition, Ayaka Murakami handles character design, and Masaru Yokoyama composes the music. The animation is being produced by Studio DEEN, which is currently also working on the full manga adaptation of "Kanata Kara".
The manga by Kyousuke Motomi ran from 2007 to 2013 in Shogakukan's magazine "Betsucomi". According to the official anime website, the series has reached more than five million copies worldwide. At its center is high school student Teru Kurebayashi, who, after the death of her brother, receives messages from a mysterious person called "DAISY" and at the same time clashes with the rough-mannered janitor Tasuku Kurosaki.
With its January start, the series joins the already growing anime season of early 2027. Also announced for January is, for example, "SSS-Class Revival Hunter". A specific broadcast date within the month, as well as details about a German streaming partner, are not yet listed on the official website.
