Bless: January premiere in the Noitamina block and main cast revealed
A-1 Pictures is producing the fashion and make-up series; new character PVs reveal the voices of Aia and Jun for the first time.
The TV anime "Bless" premieres in January 2027 in Fuji TV's Noitamina block; at the same time, the two lead voices are confirmed, with Tomohiro Ono as Aia Udagawa and Chiyuki Miura as Jun Sumisaki. Anime!Anime! reports on the announcement from September 12, which is also confirmed on the series' official website.
Aia is a former model and attends the first year of high school. He wanted to become a make-up artist but gave up the dream because he doubted he had the necessary talent. A contest at the school festival brings him back to his interest in make-up. Jun is in the same class. She hides her height and freckles at school, but dreams of becoming a model and keeps training the walk she learned from her mother.
For both characters, individual character PVs with scenes from the anime were published on September 12. The videos let their voices be heard for the first time; according to Anime!Anime!, further character PVs are expected in the coming weeks. The official pages embed the two current videos via YouTube. However, a clearly verifiable official uploader could not be identified at the time of editing, so the videos are not embedded here.
A-1 Pictures takes over the animation
The anime adaptation is based on the manga by Yukino Sonoyama, which is published by Kodansha in "Monthly Shonen Sirius." The official website cites a total circulation of more than 1.25 million copies. Shotaro Kitamura directs, and Fukurou Kamiza is responsible for series composition and scripts. Character design comes from Honoka Yokoyama, and the music from Ryo Yoshimata; A-1 Pictures produces the animation.
With the move to the Noitamina block, "Bless" now has a concrete broadcast window for the first time. In the same Fuji TV time slot, Hotaru no Yomeiri already runs in fall 2026. Further new anime are also announced for January 2027, including SSS-Class Revival Hunter. A streaming partner for the German-speaking region has not yet been named for "Bless."
