ALIEN STAGE: 3D world tour for 2027 announced
Seoul opens the concert series on January 30 and 31; Los Angeles and Tokyo follow in April and May.
For the South Korean animation and music project ALIEN STAGE, a 3D live world tour for 2027 has been announced. Organizer Frontier Works confirms a two-day kickoff in Seoul as well as further stops in Los Angeles and Tokyo. At the same time, a new key visual featuring six characters has been released.
Seoul kicks off in January, further dates to follow
The tour, whose full title is 3D LIVE ALIEN STAGE Museum in 2372 WORLD TOUR, begins on January 30 and 31, 2027 in the large auditorium of Ewha Womans University in Seoul. A stop in Los Angeles is planned for April 2027, and one in Tokyo for May 2027. Specific event days and venues for the two later stops are not yet known.
The performances center on the animated characters Mizi, Sua, Till, Ivan, Luka and Hyuna. The production is explicitly announced as a 3D live show; personal stage appearances by the voice cast are not planned. No date has yet been named for Germany or other European countries. Further details are to be published via the official tour website.
New visual brings six characters together
The released artwork shows all six announced characters together for the first time. Sua, Ivan and Luka were already part of the Showcase Tokyo, which took place from October 30 to November 1, 2026 at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Stella Ball. Mizi, Till and Hyuna are joining for the world tour.
The 3D production transfers the characters' musical performances from the animated videos into a stage show. The title "Museum in 2372" draws on the fictional Anakt Garden, a facility within the storyline of ALIEN STAGE.
Animated music videos as the foundation
ALIEN STAGE combines animated performance videos with songs and a continuing story. In the depicted world, alien beings keep humans as pets and have them compete against each other in a singing contest. The project is produced by Studio Format under the creative direction of VIVINOS and animation direction by QMENG; KANG is named as producer.
The concept thus differs from classic anime music concerts such as the string quartet performing Haruhi Suzumiya. Another approach to stage music with recorded voices is shown by the concert series of Midnight Grand Orchestra. For ALIEN STAGE, the three confirmed cities and the new tour visual are now firmly established.
