Yuki-Onna Romance Premieres in October 2026
The TV adaptation gets a new key visual and will also include original anime story segments.

The TV anime adaptation of "Hitozukiai ga Nigate na Miboujin no Yuki Onna-san to Noroi no Yubiwa" premieres in Japan in October 2026. Alongside the broadcast month, a new key visual has been released.
The source work follows a widowed Yuki-onna and a human young man whose relationship grows closer through a cursed ring. The work combines supernatural elements with a romantic comedy and is based on a manga published by Puuzaki Puuna.
TV version expands on the source
The anime adaptation had already been announced at the end of May. At that time, the author explained that the TV version will not follow the source material exclusively. Planned are also deviating developments and original story segments for the anime. Further concrete details on cast, direction, animation studio or episode count have not been named in the announcements accessible so far.
With October 2026, at least the planned broadcast period is now set. An exact start date and a German streaming partner are currently not confirmed.
The production joins several newly announced manga adaptations. Another upcoming series, "Mii-chan to Yamada-san", is said to work with external expert consultation during its adaptation.
"Hitozukiai ga Nigate na Miboujin no Yuki Onna-san to Noroi no Yubiwa" will air as a TV anime. The currently released key visual shows for the first time the anime presentation used for the October broadcast; further production details remain open.
