The official Aniplex announcement gives the start time as 12 a.m. on October 3 on TOKYO MX, BS11, Gunma TV and Tochigi TV. The official information published so far does not name a German streaming partner.
Student council as rom-com setting
The story takes place at the private Fujinari school. Ume Mizunoe is strong in language subjects but risks repeating a year because of weak science grades. To improve his school evaluation, he joins the student council. There he meets a group of eccentric classmates, and the series draws its comedy and romance elements from their everyday lives.
The manga by Muchimaro runs at Kodansha in "Weekly Shonen Magazine". In 2023 the manga won first place in the comic category of the "Next Manga Awards". The official anime website now lists more than 2.7 million copies for the series.
Naoyuki Tatsuwa is directing. Ryo Imamura handles character design and chief animation direction, and Masahiro Yokotani is responsible for series composition and scripts. The animation is produced at Passione. The series is therefore among the October starts that already have concrete dates; recently, aninew.de also announced TANK CHAIR with a start on October 4 and FX Fighter Kurumi-chan for October 2026, among others.
Opening in the new PV
The opening "Kaze no Naka wa Hashiru-kya Nai!" is sung by Sangatsu no Phantasia. According to Sony Music, the lyrics are by Mia and Noko, Noko composed the song, and Shota Horie handled the arrangement. The main PV already uses the piece and shows longer excerpts from the actual TV production for the first time.
The exact international simulcast status remains open. What is currently confirmed is the Japanese TV premiere on October 3 and the production by Passione.
