Sanrio Kawaii Me Live!: Rhythm Game Launches January 2027
Sanrio Games' first smartphone game combines characters, a rhythm game, and artist collaborations on iOS and Android.

Sanrio Kawaii Me Live! arrives in January 2027 as Sanrio Games' first smartphone game for iOS and Android. Anime!Anime! reports on the globally planned launch, the ongoing pre-registration, and new music collaborations surrounding the rhythm and dance game.
In the game, well-known Sanrio characters perform together on virtual stages. Players can customize outfits and stages and choose between two game modes: a more accessible performance mode and a technically more demanding rhythm mode. The official game site describes a free-to-play model with optional in-app purchases.
ZUTOMAYO and Other Artists Deliver Songs
The music lineup includes titles produced specifically for the game by several artists. Collaborations with Soala, SHE'S, Lienel, Polkadot Stingray, Yabai T-Shirts Yasan, and Mi'Line Hearts have been confirmed. ZUTOMAYO has been newly added with the song "Almond Mondo."

The concept PV comes from Sanrio Games' official channel and shows the characters dancing on the game's stages. A release concert at Yokohama Kannai Hall is also announced for January 14, 2027, where several of the participating artists as well as Sanrio characters are set to perform.
With this, Sanrio expands its presence in the gaming sector with its own music game. Recently, aninew.de also reported on another music-adjacent game project, BanG Dream! Our Notes. The brand itself has already appeared in the anime and manga scene, for example with the Tomie x Hello Kitty figure.
Pre-registration for Sanrio Kawaii Me Live! has been running since September 21, 2026. A specific release date within January has not yet been determined.
