Reincarnated as a Slime: Rimuru Dances to Okasaki’s Song

The clip combines the manga version of the series with “らぱっぱ☆PARTNER!” from Okasaki’s new mini-album “MY ÉTOILE.”

Miho Okasaki and Rimuru take center stage in the collaboration for the song “らぱっぱ☆PARTNER!”.

Rimuru Tempest dances in a new collaboration video set to the song “らぱっぱ☆PARTNER!” by Miho Okasaki, the Japanese voice of the character in “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime”. The video links the manga version of the series with a track from Okasaki’s third mini-album “MY ÉTOILE,” released on September 2, 2026.

KING RECORDS describes the choreography as the “Slime Dance”: at the start, Rimuru forms a ring over his head with his arms and then moves to the music. Bunkei is responsible for the choreography; he previously worked on “Poké Dance” and “Reze Dance,” among others. The Rimuru version of the clip was published through the official channels of the manga magazine Monthly Shonen Sirius, and a joint version with Okasaki was published through their official accounts.

Song comes from “MY ÉTOILE”

“らぱっぱ☆PARTNER!” is the first track on Okasaki’s mini-album “MY ÉTOILE.” The lyrics were written by Miho Karasawa, who as TRUE has also contributed title songs to the anime series; the composition and arrangement come from Tomoki Honda. Already at the album’s release, KING RECORDS had explicitly announced the song as a collaboration with the manga version of “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.”

The manga continues to be serialized in Monthly Shonen Sirius. At the time of the announcement, 32 volumes had been released in Japan. Okasaki also voices Rimuru in the currently airing fourth TV season of the anime adaptation. For the German market, Crunchyroll releases the series under the title “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.”

The new campaign thus directly connects the anime voice actress, a music release, and the manga. Other recent examples of such intersections between music and animation are the Pokémon music video with Masayoshi Oishi and the Fate/Grand Order music collection by Maaya Sakamoto.
