Prisma Illya FINALE: Three broadcasters confirmed for 2027 TV premiere
The final chapter of the Fate spin-off will air as a TV series on TOKYO MX, ABC TV and AT-X.

Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya FINALE will be broadcast on Japanese television in 2027 on TOKYO MX, ABC TV and AT-X. The production team confirmed the broadcasters on October 18, 2026, on stage at the Machi Asobi event. The series continues the storyline of the 2021 film Licht – Namae no Nai Shoujo and is set to conclude the anime series.
TV finale for the manga source's 20th anniversary
The decision for a TV series and the 2027 broadcast year had already been announced on July 20. What is new is the concrete list of broadcasters. A specific start month, the episode count and a German streaming provider are not yet known.
The source manga by Hiroshi Hiroyama was created under the supervision of TYPE-MOON and first appeared in 2007 in KADOKAWA's magazine Comp Ace. The first anime season followed in July 2013. With FINALE, the continuation thus falls in the year of the manga's 20th anniversary. As a spin-off of Fate/stay night, the series centers on Illya's story as a magical girl. Also part of the wider Fate universe is the standalone adaptation Fate/strange Fake.
SILVER LINK. and the existing cast return
Production is again handled by SILVER LINK. Shin Onuma directs, and Ken Takahashi serves as series director. The scripts come from Kenji Inoue and Hazuki Minase, while Kazuya Hirata is responsible for character designs. This behind-the-scenes lineup had already been confirmed in July.
The lead roles will again be voiced by their previous performers: Mai Kadowaki voices Illya, Kaori Nazuka voices Miyu and Chiwa Saito voices Chloe. Sumire Morohoshi returns as Pandora, Natsuki Hanae as Julian Ainsworth and Katsuyuki Konishi as Darius Ainsworth.
In terms of story, the final confrontation with Darius is approaching. After Illya, Miyu and Chloe learn the truth about Pandora, the calamities released from the opened box threaten the entire world. The official anime website describes this plot as the magical girls' last battle.
FINALE thus continues a long-running magical girl production. Another example of a recent return of the genre is Magic Knight Rayearth. For Prisma Illya, the exact broadcast dates and a possible release in German-speaking regions have yet to be announced.
