The two "Prince of Tennis" romance adventures "Sweet School Festival" and "Doki Doki Survival" were released on July 30, 2026 as remasters for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam. KONAMI is publishing both titles with revised HD visuals and English subtitles; a German version is not listed.

"Sweet School Festival," known in Japan as "Gakupuri," is based on the game released for PlayStation 2 in 2005. The player character works as a student on the organizing committee of a joint school festival and builds relationships with characters from "The Prince of Tennis" during the preparations. For the remaster, illustrations were redrawn or reworked in high resolution. In supported scenes, players can switch between the original and new presentation.

Two Settings, One Shared Re-release

"Doki Doki Survival" moves the romance adventure to an uninhabited island. After a storm and a shipwreck, the group has to make do with limited supplies. This version also receives revised HD graphics. Both games are released for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam; the Switch 2 editions are available as downloads only.

The official product pages list Japanese, English, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese as supported languages. This means the remasters are playable without knowledge of Japanese, but there is no German translation. The standard Japanese editions cost 7,700 yen each. For the Switch 2 versions, KONAMI also cites high-resolution full-screen display, shorter loading times, mouse controls and Game Share.

The release expands the series in a year in which several long-running Japanese multimedia franchises are receiving new projects. These include the 30th-anniversary exhibition for "Sakura Wars" and current news surrounding game brands such as Duel Masters.

KONAMI is also offering special editions and early-purchase bonuses for both titles. These differ depending on region and platform. For buyers in German-speaking countries, the respective store version and its language information are therefore the most relevant.
