One-Punch Man: Season 3 continues in January 2027
JAM Project is performing the opening again; a new key visual shows Garou, Tatsumaki and Genos.
One-Punch Man continues its third anime season with the second cour in January 2027. The production team has released a new key visual and the first PV for the continuation. The band JAM Project is again responsible for the opening.
Garou and the Monster Association take center stage
The second part picks up the battle between the Hero Association and the Monster Association. The new visual shows Garou at the center, while Tatsumaki, Genos and the new character Psykos dominate the background. Saitama and Flashy Flash can be seen making their way through the underground base of the Monster Association.
In the official trailer, the S-Class heroes come under pressure as the Monster Association's leadership attacks. Among other scenes, Tatsumaki's confrontation with Psykos and the increasingly powerful Garou are shown. The story thus focuses on the battles still unresolved from the first cour.
This video will only connect to YouTube once you play it.
JAM Project sings the opening again
As in the first part, JAM Project provides the opening song. The new track is titled “Never Done～最強VS最恐～”. In it, the band brings the contrast between Saitama's overwhelming power and Garou's dangerous development to the foreground.
For the third season, Shinpei Nagai remains director at J.C.STAFF. Tomohiro Suzuki handles series composition, and Makoto Miyazaki composes the music. The character design comes from Chikashi Kubota, Shinjiro Kuroda and Ryosuke Shirakawa.
The familiar voices include Makoto Furukawa as Saitama, Kaito Ishikawa as Genos, Aoi Yuki as Tatsumaki and Hikaru Midorikawa as Garou. The first cour of the third season aired from October to December 2025.
Blu-ray with an additional OVA
On January 27, 2027, the first Blu-ray and DVD volume of the third season will also be released in Japan. A new OVA is planned as an extra. For the continuation, only the start month is so far confirmed; a specific day and the German streaming availability of the second cour have not yet been separately confirmed.
Other action manga are also getting new anime adaptations: Dr. STONE TERRAFORMING continues its science adventures, while Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 has received a new visual. Like One-Punch Man, Teenage Mercenary is also produced by J.C.STAFF.
