Mashle: New details on Season 3 follow on November 11
ABEMA is broadcasting the birthday special with five voice actors free of charge in Japan; the third season has been announced for January 2027.
New information about the third season of Mashle: Magic and Muscles will be published on November 11, 2026. The Japanese streaming service ABEMA is showing a one-hour birthday special for the main character Mash Burnedead on that day. Five voice actors from the series are taking part in the broadcast.
The broadcast is titled "Mashle Birthday Party 2026" and runs from 8 to 9 p.m. Japan time on the ABEMA Anime channel. In Germany, the start corresponds to 12 noon. ABEMA announces free broadcasting in Japan. Whether the special will also be available to watch from Germany is not stated in the announcement.
Five voice actors in the birthday special
Chiaki Kobayashi (Mash Burnedead), Reiji Kawashima (Finn Ames) and Takuya Eguchi (Dot Barrett) had already been announced as participants. Newly added are Kaito Ishikawa as the voice of Lance Crown and Reina Ueda, who voices Lemon Irvine.
In addition to a look back at the anime seasons so far, ABEMA plans a birthday program centered on Mash's fondness for cream puffs. The voice actors are to make a croquembouche together, a dessert assembled from small filled pastries. The special is announced on ABEMA's official program page.
Season 3 starts in January 2027
The third anime season is set to begin on Japanese television in January 2027. It covers the final exam, in which Mash and his friends compete against students from other elite magic schools. ABEMA intends to present concrete new information about the season only during the November 11 broadcast. The current announcement does not yet name an exact start date.
The source is the completed manga by Hajime Komoto from Weekly Shonen Jump. The first anime season aired in 2023, the second in 2024. A-1 Pictures is responsible for the animation. The studio is also working on the anime adaptation of Bless, announced for January 2027.
Another date for the series is already fixed: Mashle will be present at the Jump Studio during the Jump Festa 2027 in December. A German streaming provider for the third season was not disclosed in the ABEMA announcement.
