Kagurabachi: Miku Ito and Miyari Nemoto join the cast
New character PVs show Hinao and Char Kyonagi ahead of the TV premiere in April 2027.

The TV anime Kagurabachi has expanded its cast: Miku Ito voices Hinao, while Miyari Nemoto takes on the role of Char Kyonagi. The series' official website released new character visuals on August 28, along with a separate character PV for each of the two characters.
Hinao works at "Cafe Haru Haru" and connects people seeking the help of sorcerers with the appropriate contacts. Ito describes the character as a special part of the story and hopes to convey her presence at the café in the anime as a kind of familiar place. Char Kyonagi, meanwhile, is being pursued for a reason not yet explained in detail. Nemoto takes on the role and says in her official comment that the offer for Char initially filled her with both joy and nervousness.

Kagurabachi premieres in April 2027
The anime adaptation of Takeru Hokazono's manga, which runs in Weekly Shonen Jump, is set to premiere in Japan in April 2027. Cypic is handling the animation production, Tetsuya Takeuchi is directing, and Keigo Sasaki is responsible for character design. Already confirmed are Taihi Kimura as Chihiro Rokuhira, Tomokazu Seki as Kunishige Rokuhira, and Katsuyuki Konishi as Togo Shiba.
The story centers on Chihiro, who, after the attack by the sorcerer organization Hishaku, wants to avenge his father's death and recover six stolen enchanted blades. To do so, he fights with Enten, the seventh blade, which his father left behind for him.
With its April 2027 start, Kagurabachi falls in the same period as the already announced TV anime Shozen. Further manga adaptations for 2027 are also already confirmed, including Mii-chan to Yamada-san. A German streaming partner for Kagurabachi has not yet been announced.
