Identity V: Short anime premieres late November on TV
The four-part series is produced by TypeZERO and airs within "Oha Suta Dai 5 Gakuen" on Japanese morning television.

Identity V gets a four-part short anime on Japanese television at the end of November 2026. The episodes are set within the TV segment "Oha Suta Dai 5 Gakuen" and show the everyday life of Emma and other characters from the asymmetric multiplayer game.
As Anime!Anime! reports and the official website of "Oha Suta" confirms, the second season of the game segment within TV Tokyo's morning programme begins first on September 8. The new short anime then follows from around the end of November. A total of four episodes have been announced, and the animation is handled by the studio TypeZERO.
The released key visual shows gardener Emma Woods as an older student. Three further Survivors are also featured, along with Jack, who appears as a teacher in this school setting. Chiwa Saito voices Emma again. Further details about the plot or additional cast are to follow at a later date.
From game to short TV series
"Identity V" is a 1-vs-4 multiplayer game by NetEase in which four Survivors face one Hunter. According to the official announcement, the game has now reached more than 400 million users worldwide. The first season of "Oha Suta Dai 5 Gakuen" already aired in early 2026 and, within "Oha Suta", conveyed the basics and game mechanics of Identity V.
With the new short anime, the collaboration extends the format for the first time with an independent animated story. Similar transitions from game brands into new anime productions remain a topic elsewhere as well: most recently, a new anime series based on Kingdom Hearts was announced.
For Germany, neither a broadcast nor a streaming offer for the Identity V short anime has been confirmed so far. The announced four episodes are initially intended for the Japanese TV programme of "Oha Suta".
