The Haikyu!! original exhibition "Haruichi Furudate: Haikyu!! Exhibition – Challengers" opens on 30 October 2026 at the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Tokyo. It shows 203 original works from the volleyball manga series, including 24 drawings created specially for the exhibition by creator Haruichi Furudate.

Five sections continue the story

As Anime!Anime! reported during the press tour, the exhibition follows Shoyo Hinata, Tobio Kageyama and their teammates on the Karasuno volleyball team through to their later challenges. After a prologue, five themed zones lead through the story's central stages of development.

The first section is devoted to the beginnings of the team and the relationship between Hinata and Kageyama. This is followed by the national high school championships, with matches against Inarizaki, Nekoma and Kamomedai. The third zone shows how the characters take their own paths after graduation. According to WWDJAPAN, 17 previously unpublished illustrations can be seen there.

Next comes the meeting of former rivals in professional volleyball. Large wall graphics, original manga pages and newly drawn motifs connect the different stages of the characters' lives. The show is the third major original exhibition on Furudate's manga after events in 2018 and 2020.

Tokyo, Osaka and Sendai on the schedule

In Tokyo the exhibition runs from 30 October 2026 to 11 January 2027. The Mori Arts Center Gallery is located on the 52nd floor of the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Regular admission costs 2,200 yen; visiting requires a ticket with a fixed time slot.

Further venues have already been announced: in Osaka the show is planned for 24 April to 20 June 2027, and in Sendai in summer 2027. Specific information about the Sendai venue is to follow later. Dates and tickets for Tokyo are published on the official exhibition website.

The exhibition relies on new original artwork rather than exclusively on series merchandise. A similar combination of manga drawings and production material is shown at the Oshi no Ko exhibition in Kagoshima and the first manga exhibition for Made in Abyss.
