"Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade" reveals Yu Haibara's previously unknown technique for the first time. The character will be added as a playable unit on August 31, 2026; at the same time, the game is publishing an illustration newly drawn by manga author Gege Akutami. As Anime!Anime! reports, the technique was developed for the game under Akutami's supervision.

The technique bears the Japanese name "蒸気呪法" and is presented in the game for the first time within the "Jujutsu Kaisen" series. Neither the original manga nor the TV anime adaptation had previously named Haibara's technique. Phantom Parade thus expands the familiar character with a new detail supervised by the original author.

Haibara appears as the SSR unit "Burning Feelings". In parallel, the new story event "蒸熱の呪術師" starts, placing Haibara at its center. The event runs from August 31 at 15 to September 29 at 14 Japan time. The associated gacha campaign remains available until October 9 at 14. An SSR memory "超同級生の初陣" is also planned as an event reward.

A dedicated PV has also been released for the story event. Anime!Anime! additionally names the SSR memory "青春グラフィティ", which is available via the event gacha together with Haibara's new unit. Further details are to be published in the game and through the official Phantom Parade channels.

"Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade" is a command RPG for smartphones and PC that, alongside familiar story sections from the anime, also tells its own stories. The service launched on November 21, 2023; according to Anime!Anime!, the game has since reached more than 25 million downloads worldwide.

This new reveal comes during a phase with several current announcements about the series. On aninew.de, the new Sukuna visual for "Jujutsu Kaisen" Season 4 was most recently presented. In addition, new PalVerse figures for six characters from the series have also been announced.
