Eiga Meitantei Precure!: Satoru and Daifuku transform

"Eiga Meitantei Precure!" confirms Satoru Toyama and Daifuku as active support in the film: both transform and join the action alongside the team from "Wonderful Precure!" Anime!Anime! published new film stills on September 23, 2026, along with comments from voice actors Takuma Terashima and Yuichi Nakamura.

Satoru and Daifuku thus do not appear merely as supporting characters. According to the report, they transform in the film to support the Wonderful Precure team, which in turn fights alongside the heroines of "Meitantei Precure!" Terashima, who voices Satoru, describes the return as a reunion with his character and is pleased that Satoru can help together with Daifuku. Nakamura explains of Daifuku's appearance that, although the character is not seen for very long, the scene was deliberately staged to be striking.

The new stills also show further crossover scenes with "Kimi to Idol Precure♪" and "Wonderful Precure!" Among those visible are Cure Idol, Cure Wink and Cure Kyun-Kyun, as well as Cure Wonderful, Cure Friendy, Cure Nyammy and Cure Lillian. The film thus further expands the meeting of the three teams that was already announced before the cinema release. Earlier trailers and first crossover images are summarized in the article Eiga Meitantei Precure!: KimiPri and WanPri in the new trailer.

The film has been running in Japan since September 18, 2026. According to the official film website, 357,000 visitors came to cinemas in the first three days; revenue amounted to 440 million yen. The production describes this as the strongest cinema opening within the Precure series so far. Further current cinema information is available in the article Eiga Meitantei Precure!: 4DX starts on October 2.

A German cinema release or streaming date remains unannounced.
