Another event is planned for November 19, the eve of the premiere.
A Visual Novel by TYPE-MOON Becomes a Feature Film
The source is the visual novel written by Kinoko Nasu from the studio TYPE-MOON, also known for the Fate series. The story follows the schoolgirl Aoko Aozaki, who secretly learns magic. Together with Alice Kuonji, she lives in a house on a hill. Her encounter with Soujuurou Shizuki stirs up her everyday life.
ufotable is responsible for the anime adaptation. Masaru Takeuchi directs, and the character design comes from Moe Tsuzuki. The film score is composed by Hideyuki Fukasawa. Haruka Tomatsu, Kana Hanazawa, and Yusuke Kobayashi voice the lead roles. ufotable is also the studio behind the feature film Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle. With Madoka Magica: Walpurgisnacht Rising, another Japanese fantasy anime film is also currently in cinemas.

The title song "Yoru to Ao" comes from supercell. Its digital release is planned for November 21, with two CD editions following on November 25 and December 9. The original soundtrack with the film score will be released in Japan on December 23, 2026. The official film trailer, already published, shows excerpts of the animation and introduces the song.
