Karanda Kokoro wo Hodoite Furete: BL Manga Gets a Voice Comic
Jun Kasama and Yuya Hirose take the lead roles. An expanded edition with bonus material has also been announced.

The Boys Love manga Karanda Kokoro wo Hodoite Furete (絡んだ心をほどいて触れて) by Nira Kaneyuki is getting a voice comic. KADOKAWA will publish the first episode on November 6, 2026 at 7 p.m. Japan time on the official CIEL Fleur YouTube channel. Jun Kasama voices the student Ryusei, and Yuya Hirose takes on the role of Gaku. The adaptation was announced by KADOKAWA and picked up by Nijimen.
Two Students and an Unusual Agreement
The story centers on Gaku, a new student who presents himself as outgoing at university, although he considers himself rather introverted. At a bar he meets his older classmate Ryusei, who usually goes about alone at the university. Gaku initially feels a connection with him, but Ryusei responds coldly.
After an argument, the two agree to an unusual arrangement: they become practice partners for a relationship. Gaku then visits the bar regularly. The story follows the development of their relationship and the contrast between the behavior they show outwardly and their actual feelings.
Official YouTube Release and Additional Edition
The voice comic appears on the official CIEL Fleur channel. The channel publishes voiced versions of manga from KADOKAWA's Boys Love lines, including Fleur Comics and Asuka Comics CL-DX. Unlike a TV anime adaptation, this is a voiced comic adaptation.
In addition, KADOKAWA has announced a complete edition. It is to include, among other things, voiced bonus pages of the printed manga and conversations with the voice actors. No release date, price, or specific distribution channels for this edition have been named yet. The publisher intends to share further details through CIEL's official channels.
The underlying manga was published by KADOKAWA on April 1, 2026 under the Asuka Comics CL-DX label. The collected volume runs 178 pages and costs 858 yen in Japan. Information on the Japanese edition is available on the publisher's product page.
Other digital distribution routes for Boys Love manga are also in focus in the industry: Piccoma has launched the specialized e-book shop Lulumiru. A Japanese survey on manga use provides additional figures on the use of printed and digital formats.
