Jump SQ.: 2027 Anniversary Exhibition in Tokyo and Osaka
Original artwork spanning 20 years of magazine history forms the centrepiece of the exhibition in two Japanese cities.

The manga magazine Jump SQ. is receiving its own exhibition in Tokyo and Osaka in 2027 to mark its 20th anniversary. The Japanese publisher Shueisha and the organiser Movic have announced the "Jump SQ. 20th Anniversary Exhibition", featuring original drawings from past and current series, recreated manga scenes and memorabilia. The two venues and dates have already been confirmed.
Two stops in spring and summer 2027
In Tokyo, the exhibition runs from April 23 to May 16, 2027 at Sunshine City, Cultural Building, third floor, Exhibition Hall C. It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with last admission at 7 p.m.
Afterwards, the show moves to Osaka at ATC Gallery. It is planned there from July 3 to 26, 2027, likewise from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. On the last exhibition day, the visit ends earlier at 5 p.m., with last admission at 4 p.m.
Under the motto "All Sides, SQ.", the exhibition is intended to trace the magazine's history since its founding in 2007. Planned elements include original drawings from earlier serial publications, photo spots based on well-known scenes and specially produced exhibition goods. Which works and which drawings will be featured, and how much tickets will cost, is to be announced later. The organiser publishes current information on the official exhibition website.
Anniversary year with new illustrations and special merchandise
Jump SQ. first appeared on November 2, 2007, and will celebrate its 20th birthday in November 2027. The announcement is part of a series of anniversary projects that Shueisha presented on November 4, 2026, with the December issue of the magazine.
These include a new anniversary logo by the artist COIN PARKING DELIVERY. In addition, original illustrations from, among others, The Prince of Tennis, D.Gray-man and Gokurakugai are to be used for various anniversary products. These products are to be distinguished from the exhibition programme: a complete list of the manga works on display has not yet been published.
For manga readers, the exhibition is another opportunity to see original artwork outside of the printed volumes. Comparable insights are offered by the Haikyu!! exhibition with 203 drawings and the first manga exhibition on Made in Abyss. The publisher's event Jump Festa 2027 also features several manga series from Shueisha's lineup, but it has a different event format.
