i☆Ris: Final Tour 2027 and Farewell Album Announced
The group's farewell also includes three previously unreleased concert recordings.
The Japanese voice actress and music group i☆Ris has announced its final joint tour for 2027. The "i☆Ris Final Live Tour 2027" comprises 17 concerts at twelve venues. Meanwhile, the quintet is preparing a best-of album whose track selection will also be decided by fans.
Farewell Tour from April 2027
The tour begins on April 29, 2027 at the Ichikawa City Cultural Hall in Chiba Prefecture. Stops planned afterward include Yokohama, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sapporo, Osaka, Sendai and Okinawa, among others. The most recently announced date is July 25, 2027 at the Tachikawa Stage Garden in Tokyo. Several cities will host two performances on the same day.
According to the group, presale for members of the official fan club "Nijikai" has been running since November 3 and ends on November 23, 2026. Tickets for regular seats cost ¥10,500. Detailed dates and conditions are available in the official tour announcement.
Best-of Album and Three Concert Recordings
On April 21, 2027, the double album provisionally titled "i☆Ris FINAL BEST ALBUM" will be released. Ten tracks will be selected by fan voting, and a further 15 by the members. A new song is also planned. The edition with Blu-ray includes a video for the new track as well as a separately produced music video for an older song that has not yet had its own clip.
As early as February 24, 2027, the label will release three tour productions that have never before appeared on video: the eighth tour from 2023, the ninth from 2024 and the eleventh from 2026. The performances from 2023 and 2024 will be released on Blu-ray, and the 2026 tour also on DVD.
Group's End Tied to 15th Anniversary
i☆Ris had already announced on October 11, 2026 that it would end its joint activities at the end of 2027 after around 15 years. The group cites discussions between all five members and the team about the future of each individual artist as the basis for the decision. i☆Ris consists of Saki Yamakita, Yu Serizawa, Himika Akaneya, Yuki Wakai and Miyu Kubota.
Formed in 2012, the group combines voice acting with anime music and is known, among other things, for the voices and songs of PriPara. Before the farewell tour, i☆Ris is also on the announced lineup for ANISAMA FUKUOKA 2027. Another current best-of project from anime music is covered in the report on Maaya Sakamoto's "Yoin".
