QualiArts is switching the idol management RPG to an offline version after its shutdown; further events will take place until then.

IDOLY PRIDE ends its smartphone game service on March 1, 2027. The development team announced the end of the idol management role-playing game on October 30, 2026 via its official X account. At the same time, it announced an update to an offline version. The aim is for the game to remain available in a new form even after the regular online services are shut down.

Offline version planned after end of service

Until March 1, 2027, livestreams and events will continue to take place. The team has not yet fully described the exact functions and content of the offline version in its public statements so far. For further details, it refers to the notices within the app.

The handling of the paid in-game currency is also part of the shutdown. Owners of so-called Blue Diamonds can read the information on refunds and the steps provided for them in the in-game notices. No specific refund period is mentioned in the publicly distributed announcement posts.

The end explicitly concerns the smartphone game for iOS and Android. It is not an announcement about the discontinuation of all activities of the entire IDOLY PRIDE project.

Nearly six years of idol management

The app launched on June 24, 2021. Players take on the role of a manager, support the idols during their performances and develop their careers further. This includes organizing concerts, looking after various groups, as well as interactive messages and conversations with the characters. Animated 3D stage performances are an essential part of the game's presentation.

IDOLY PRIDE is part of a larger music and anime project that already produced a TV anime series before the game's launch. The series aired in 2021; in addition, released songs and live performances belong to the franchise. The planned offline update is therefore especially relevant for players who want to continue accessing at least part of the game content after the shutdown date.

Other idol franchises are also expanding their interactive offerings: a console game is announced for Idolmaster SideM, while another music game, BanG Dream! Our Notes, is in development.
