Hagure Idol Jigokuhen: Anime Premieres January 2027
Studio Raiose is animating the manga adaptation, with four voice actresses and the production team already announced.

The manga series Hagure Idol Jigokuhen by Rui Takato is getting a TV anime adaptation that will air in Japan from January 2027. On November 6, producer WWWave announced the first four voice actresses, the production team, and a new illustration by the manga artist. Studio Raiose is handling the animation work.
Four Lead Roles and Production Team Revealed
At the center is Misora Haebaru, a young woman from Okinawa who wants to succeed in the entertainment industry. The story combines her path as an idol with martial arts, conflicts in the show business, and erotic elements. The original manga series is published by Nihon Bungeisha.
Hisako Tojo voices Misora. Nao Shiraki plays Sara Gosima, while Natsumi Murakami will be heard as Choi Yun-Hui. Hikaru Iida takes on the role of the student and actress 桑折嶺音. The casting for the four main characters presented so far is thus now known.
Takashi Ando directs, and Eyo Kurosaki is responsible for scripts and series composition. Ryuji Iwata designs the characters, and MORIMORI is involved as chief animation director. The music comes from ZincP. The animation studio Raiose is producing the series on behalf of WWWave; the anime label Deregula oversees the production.
Manga Now Gets an Anime Version Following a Live-Action Film
Creator Rui Takato recalls in his statement that the manga series began twelve years ago. Six years before this announcement, the source material was already adapted as a live-action film. The TV production now announced is therefore another adaptation of the same story.
To mark the launch of the official anime website, those responsible released not only the title logo but also a special illustration by Takato. The drawing shows Misora in the center of the image along with two smaller figures. No trailer was presented with this announcement.
Hagure Idol Jigokuhen thus belongs to the recently revealed manga adaptations. Other current announcements concern, for example, Spirit Circle and 33 Years Old Single Female Knight-Captain.
Broadcast from January 2027
The Japanese TV premiere is announced for January 2027. A specific premiere date, the broadcasting networks, an episode count, and a streaming provider for Germany have not yet been named. Further details on the release schedule are therefore still pending.
