Project Sekai: “Emerald” MV Showcases Fan Art for Anniversary
More than 1,600 illustrations were submitted for the joint campaign with CELSYS, SEGA and Colorful Palette.
A new music video for Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku was released on November 4, 2026, to celebrate the game's sixth anniversary. The “Emerald” video uses selected illustrations that players submitted for a joint campaign. The collaboration was organized by CELSYS, SEGA and Colorful Palette.
More Than 1,600 Drawings Submitted
For the campaign “みんなでつくるミュージックビデオ” (a music video created together), fans could submit their own images from July 1 to August 31, 2026. Entries were collected via X, Instagram and TikTok. The theme was “Memories of Project Sekai.” According to the participating company CELSYS, more than 1,600 submissions were received.
The finished video features selected works from this collection. The drawings draw on personal experiences with the game: a favorite song discovered first, an especially memorable event, or a connection to a particular character. Not all submitted works appear in the video. The production thus differs from an ordinary anniversary trailer, because the illustrations come directly from the community.
“Emerald” on the Official Channel
The full music video was published on the official YouTube channel of Project Sekai. It is part of the celebrations for the rhythm game's sixth birthday. The release of the video is also confirmed by CELSYS in its official announcement of November 5.

As part of the now concluded participation campaign, participants could receive, on request, a three-month version of CLIP STUDIO PAINT PRO. In addition, 50 original clear folders were raffled among the submitters. The participation phase and the application for these benefits have ended.
Anniversary of the Rhythm Game
Project Sekai is a rhythm and adventure game for iOS and Android by SEGA and Colorful Palette. Alongside songs featuring virtual singers such as Hatsune Miku, it offers its own stories and virtual live performances. The anniversary was also marked with the Project Sekai 6th Anniversary Thanks Festival. Previously, the game had combined well-known VOCALOID tracks with new in-game content in the “The Music Style” campaign.
The community video “Emerald” has been publicly available since November 4. Further illustrations can no longer be submitted for inclusion in this music video through the campaign, which has ended.
